On 2-3 March 2016 at Lomonosov Moscow State University joint school-seminar of young scientists of PJSOC Bashneft and MSU was passed. One of the leading oil companies was presented by employees of PJSOC Bashneft, LLC BashNIPIneft and LLC Bashneft-Dobycha. From University master and PhD students of Geological faculty (members of MSU SPE student chapter) pаrticipated.

Programme of two-days event was very intensive. School-seminar was opened by executive director of SEC «Oil and gas center of MSU», member of SPE Russia and Caspian Advisory Committee M.Tokarev. He marked importance of interaction of Company and University for solving modern fundamental and engineering tasks of oil and gas industry.

2nd  March - first day of school-seminar - was dedicated to lections from leading professors of MSU: S. Tikhotsky (ScD, director of Institute of Physics of the Earth of RAS), G.Kalmykov (PhD, senior research fellow of Geological faculty) and D.Korost (PhD, research fellow of Geological faculty, faculty advisor of MSU SPE student chapter). Themes of lections were geomechanical modeling, methodic of complex investigation of unconventional hydrocarbons reservoirs and application of computer tomography in oil-gas industry.

On 3rd  March Round table of young scientists was conducted. Goal of event was sharing of experiences between MSU and LLC BashNIPIneft. Participants shared their own best practices in petrophysical and geochemical spheres of investigations. After Round table guests had an excursion to laboratories of Geological faculty, modern equipment was shown to them.

Moreover, for guests from PJSOC Bashneft excursion at campus of MSU, to museum of University’ history and to famous Museum of Natural History, which located at 24-28th floors of Main building, were provided.

Both parties marked high productivity of joint work. Participants decided to investigate the possibility of regularly conduction of analogous events.
