On 15th of November VI Conference of the Universities on the basis of practices took place in Moscow State University; it was organized by the students of Moscow State University Society of Petroleum Engineers Student Chapter. MSU Faculty of Geology and Environmental Department Peoples' Friendship University aided in organization of the conference. The conference is supported by platinum sponsor – Schlumberger company. The Conference was also attended by the representatives of the following companies: LUKOIL-Engineering, Halliburton/ Landmark, Exxon Mobil Russia Inc. Conference was dedicated to the practice of students of geology, geophysics, geography, biology and ecology departments. One of the goals of the conferences is the enhancement of scientific and practical education experience of students at Russian universities and agitating all stakeholders - students, teachers and representatives of industrial organizations - to work on issues concerning student practices

The conference was opened by the Co-Chairman of Program Committee, Head of the Center of Seismic Research "LUKOIL-Engineering" Igor Kerusov and the Chairman of Organization Committee, President of the MSU SPE Student Chapter Ivan Agapitov. The conference included 4 sections: "Exploration and Production of Fossil Fuels", "Geology", "Geography" and "Ecology and Biology".The conference was attended by the representatives of 3 RAS institutes and 24 universities (Moscow State University, St. Petersburg State University, People's Friendship University, Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas, Tomsk Polytechnic University, Belarusian State University and others). Students took part on either full-time or part-time basis. There were 124 reports selected for the conference. The total number of participating students is unprecedented: 173. There were 99 students who participated on full-time basis and 74 – on part-time basis.
The winners of the conference are the full-time students. The winners were selected by a panel of experts represented industrial organizations and universities (Table 2). The organizers team consisted of 20 people, 17 of them are members of the SPE chapter at MSU. The students of Geological and Geographical faculty of Moscow State University and the Faculty of Ecology at Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia were responsible for holding events and organization.
It is worth to mention the expansion of cooperation in the scientific departments with other student SPE sections of our region, members of which took part in the conference – Kazan Federal University, Russian State Geological Prospecting University, Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas, National mineral resources university, St. Petersburg State University, North-Eastern Federal University, Tyumen State University, Ufa State Petroleum Technological University.
Congratulations to the winners of the conference! We wish you not to stop at this point! We also thank everyone who participated in the conference for their interest and a high level of qualification! We hope that besides the friendly atmosphere of the conference and communication you also found lots of new interesting things and received a valuable experience that will be useful to you in the future!
It is worth mentioning that in the course of conference and after it the moderators and organizers received many positive reviews and thanks from the guests of the conference. Ludmila Miloserdova (Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas), who took part in all the Inter-university conferences following practices in the course of 6 years, noted that this year the conference achieved a whole new level in organization and the report subjects. After the completion of all reports GeoMind quiz took place at International society of engineers of petroleum industry SPE at MSU. All the participants experienced positive emotions and got a powerful wave of energy to motivate them for their future ideas and projects.
